Who writes the site

Articles are published under the editorial name CatParentLab, as confirmed by the site owner. We collect and organize public reviews, owner feedback and cat-care guides. This editorial identity does not claim veterinary qualifications or identify a named veterinary reviewer.

Evidence and verification rules

Product claims should link to the manufacturer's label or instructions for the exact product. Household accounts should identify the person or public account, date, setup, action, and outcome. An anecdote is not a controlled test. A product listing is not a firsthand use record. Missing measurements must remain marked as unknown; a blank worksheet must not be presented as test data.

These are the rules for revisions, not a claim that every earlier article has passed them. Some requested original use records and measured comparisons remain unavailable; the relevant pages identify those gaps. Where the evidence cannot be checked, the article must say so rather than invent a person, result, or date.

Money and affiliate disclosures

The existing Privacy Policy discloses participation in CJ Affiliate and affiliate links to Best Vet Care. A qualifying purchase through those links may earn Cat Parent Lab a commission at no extra cost to the buyer. The site owner confirms that the site currently has affiliate links only, has no paid sponsorships, and has received no money from brands. Free-product arrangements have not been confirmed.

Affiliate links must have a nearby visible disclosure that a qualifying purchase may earn a commission, and use the sponsored link attribute. Paid placements must identify the sponsor and payment relationship near the placement. Commission potential is not evidence that a product works.

Updates and corrections

A page update date records a real edit to that page, including policy or navigation changes; it does not imply that every product or source was retested on that date. Send corrections with the page URL and supporting evidence to [email protected].
